Myzone arrives at Marina Health & Leisure

01 November 2018

Myzone physical activity belts use personalised heart rate readings to inform members of the intensity levels of their workouts in real time, with the option to display their results in real-time on a dedicated Club screen.

Members are also able to record and track their information from session-to-session to see precisely how they are progressing over a period of time.   An online personal activity report, accessible either online, or via the free Myzone app also enables them to log in at any time to see how close they are to reaching their goals.

Group Club Manager, Sean Mills said:

‘It’s brilliant news for Marina.  We have been looking for a training tool to bring additional value to our offerings and Myzone enables us to do just that.  People come to us looking for results, and that is exactly what Myzone is all about’.

Myzone taps into people’s competitive instincts as well.  The more time spent exercising and the higher the intensity of the exercise, the more Myzone Effort Points members earn.  They can then participate in challenges to earn prizes, all while improving their overall fitness level.

‘It’s a great motivator’ said Sean.  ‘It enables you to set personal goals, and holds you accountable to them.  By giving you feedback on how intense your workouts actually are, it’s really effective at helping track progress.  Ultimately, this will lead to members achieving the results they’ve been looking for and getting the most out of their Club.’
